Poll: Obama beats McCain as barbecue guest
People would rather barbecue burgers with Barack Obama than with John McCain.
While many are still deciding who should be president, by 52 percent to 45 percent they would prefer having Obama than McCain to their summer cookout, according to an Associated Press-Yahoo News poll released Wednesday.

I know you support Obama as does most of the media. What does having someone to a barbeque have to being president. Personally I would rather haveAngelina Jolie than either of these guys.
The answer for me is simple.
Whoever wins these “who would you rather have a beer, barbecue with, etc” , usually wins the the White House.
IIRC, Bush won this poll over Kerry, Bush won this poll over Gore, Clinton won this poll over Dole, and down the line..
the meaning for me is..whoever us American peeps seem to ‘like’ the most wins. I would have posted this here if McCain would have won the poll.
