Democrat Barack Obama leads Republican John McCain by 11 points in Wisconsin based on a new poll.
The Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday shows that 50 percent of likely voters said they will vote for Obama, a senator from Illinois. In the poll, 39 percent said they will vote for McCain, a senator from Arizona.

PHOENIX — In a sign of continued weakness in his home state, an online poll shows Sen. John McCain trailing Sen. Barack Obama by 3-percentage points in Arizona. Barack Obama is leading John McCain by five percentage points in Montana. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state shows Obama attracting 48% of the vote while McCain earns 43%.

People would rather barbecue burgers with Barack Obama than with John McCain.
While many are still deciding who should be president, by 52 percent to 45 percent they would prefer having Obama than McCain to their summer cookout, according to an Associated Press-Yahoo News poll released Wednesday.

“Toss-up” states Minnesota and Wisconsin were re-designated to “Lean-Obama” Friday, giving the presumptive Democratic nominee another 20 electoral votes in CNN’s current estimate. The Illinois senator now has 231 electoral votes — 39 shy of winning the presidency.

A Times/Bloomberg Poll says that in a two-man contest, 49% of respondents favor Barack Obama, while 37% support John McCain. With Ralph Nader and Bob Barr added to the mix, Obama holds 15-point edge.
